My Tips For Reducing Stress

by Steve
(Toledo, Ohio)

I have a really crazy job. The clients are difficult, they keep changing their minds about what they want and then suddenly they need the changes done yesterday! This seems to happen day in and day out in my industry. I get really stressed out and have a hard time relaxing at the end of the day.

I've asked many of my friends about their strategies for stress relief. Usually the answer revolved around alcohol and a hot girlfriend. I'm sure that helps them but I needed something more natural and with longer lasting effects.

When I went to California on holiday two months ago, I met a guy who was into yoga of all things! I had thought this was kind of a girlie thing but I went with him one day to the class and I tell you, I felt great afterwards. I found a studio when I came back home and am really giving it a chance. It's only been a month but so far so good. I feel more relaxed at work and don't freak out as fast. I seem to sleep better and can calm down my crazy racing mind at the end of a long day more easily.

I think I'm on to a good thing and wanted to share it with all those guys out there who have been thinking of trying but didn't have the courage. Go for it I say, you'll never know how good it feels till you do!
Cheers...
